The God of Habit Frej (God of Fertility)
The habits are represented in the sources by only three gods, namely Njord and his children Frej and Freyja, whereas the Æsir family is large and widely branched.
The story tells that Frej had sat in Odin's high seat 'Hliðskiálf', from where you can look out into all the worlds, and from here the beautiful Gerd, who is the daughter of the giant Gymer, sees. Frej became obsessed with lust for the giant's daughter Gerd and wants her to be his bride. He then sends his servant Skirner to propose to her on Frej's behalf.
